Actually, both of these samples are from teachers.   Slant reveals emotion and how the writer relates to people.  I don't know about  you but having (a) teach my child might cause me some concern.  Notice the way the letters slant back and forth in (a's) handwriting. 

You may not know exactly what is wrong with a handwriting sample but the chances are, if you feel uncomfortable with the way it looks, there is something wrong.
